Classroom Consequences For Poor Student Behavior

*In the event that this doesn’t work out, the following consequences will take place….

1st Offense – Warning – Student clips down to “Think about it.”

2nd Offense – Student clips down to “Teacher’s Choice” and stands on the

sidewalk for 5 or 10 minutes at the next recess.

3rd Offense – Student clips down to “Parent Contact” and loses an entire recess.

Parents will be informed through a note, email, or phone call.

** Please note: In more severe discipline situations, a visit with the principal may occur.

When homework is not completed, the student misses recess to complete the work. If his/her teacher is on recess duty, the student is sent to one of the other second grade classrooms to finish the work.
