The Creative Minds Art & Literary magazine and club is excited to announce this year's 23-24 issue.
From Creative Minds...
"A self portrait is a mirror through which the artist examines their own reflection.
Trumbull High School’s Creative Minds Art and Literary magazine has existed for decades, spanning ever-changing trends and showcasing an eclectic array of voices and perspectives. Through art, we can see that the student artist who rocked Abercrombie & Fitch polos in 2010 is no different from the TikTok trend-following teen of today.
Recently, an artist who was featured in the 2006 edition of Creative Minds wrote to us asking for a copy of their feature. Nearly 20 years later, they still valued the opportunity that Creative Minds provided them. This anecdote is one of many examples of the lasting impact that a space to share one's artistic side with the entire community at large has had.
In the absence of a distinct theme this year, we celebrate the diversity of voices that have graced our pages over the years. For art is not bound by the limitations of a single concept, but instead is, at its core, a deeply personal journey.
We invite you to journey with us through this uncharted territory and to revel in the beauty of spontaneity and individuality."
