By following the American Association for School Librarians (AASL) Standards for the 21st Century Learner, students will use skills, resources, and tools to:

To support these standards, students will participate in read alouds, storytelling experiences, Makerspace and STEAM activities, early literacy support, research, and participate in book checkout.

To support these standards, students will participate in online safety and digital citizenship lessons, use collaborative programs online to build digital literacy skills (such as the Google Apps for Education [Classroom, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Drawings], Flipgrid, Padlet, and Seesaw), build typing skills, and learn how to use online databases to conduct research.
