Camp Olmsted is the largest camp at the Goshen Scout Reservation that can accommodate up to 400 campers. Camp Olmsted is also the nexus for the STEM program, holding programs in the state-of-the art Booz Allen Hamilton Technology Center, where technology related Merit Badges are taught. But that’s not all! Olmsted still offers your fundamental summer camp badges such as Wilderness Survival, Swimming, and Rifle Shooting. Olmsted’s Merit Badge program offers a great deal of diversity with roughly 60 badges offered! The camp also gives older Scouts many opportunities to take part in camp-wide activities outside of earning Merit Badges.

• WHEN: July 12 - July 18, 2026

• WHERE: Goshen Scout Reservation, Goshen, VA (approx. 185 miles/3 hours southwest of Sterling, VA - (map)

• COST: $580 - Early-bird discount before April 15 ($610 after April 15).

  • T572 SCOUTS: Full payment due by April 15

  • ARROW OF LIGHT CROSSOVERS: $100 deposit due by MARCH 29 / Full payment due by June 27

  • Camp Olmsted now has an ALL INCLUSIVE fee structure! 

    • No additional or hidden fees once registered for camp

    • All programs and supplies are included in the cost of camp

      • A photocopy of both sides of  a medical insurance card is also required.
