Scouts BSA is for boys and girls who are 11 through 17 years old or are at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award.
Scouts experience a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmasters to achieve the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Camping, fun with friends -- and more. It’s the adventure of a lifetime.

When you join Troop 572, you are part of the National Capital Area Council representing the Loudoun District.
The National Capital Area Council, BSA delivers the promise of Scouting to youth in the Washington, D.C., metro area, including the District of Columbia, 16 counties in Maryland and Virginia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and U.S. citizens abroad in North and South America. Our programs teach young people to “be prepared!” for adventure, education, service, and leadership.
