T572  ANNOUCEMENTS, REMINDERS & SIGNUPS: 

T572 Scouts - Out & About: Please send along any pics/info for any events that you've participated in or have coming up, and/or if you have a fun photo from the snow/ice break that you'd like to share!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• April Outing: 4/24 - 4/26 New Scout Campout - this will be at the familiar Blue Ridge/Bears Den (19178 Blue Ridge Mountain Rd, Bluemont VA 20135).

  • For our new Scouts (Patrol Name TBD), this will be to complete all the requirements needed for the rank of Scout. This location is used by the local astronomy club so bring a telescope if you have one!

• Eagle Scout Project Pipeline: Help us find projects for our future Eagles

  • We want to make sure every Scout who is ready to earn their Eagle rank has a meaningful project waiting for them. To do that, we need to build a list of local organizations that need help.

  • How you can help: If you know a local school, church, park, or non-profit that has a "wish list" project they haven't been able to finish, please give them my contact information. Whether it's building benches, clearing trails, or organizing a donation drive, we want to know about it.

  • Our goal is to have a list of ready-to-go projects so our Scouts can stay on schedule and keep moving toward their goal.
