We started off in the parking lot waiting to start the campout. Once we arrived, we went on a nature hike, trying to hear owls and getting us ready for the big day ahead of us. Once it was bedtime, we all started to go into aing aing mode and doing things like helping others, holding court, praying to the moon and light poles, and just running around. Then we all went to sleep.
In the morning, we got up, and started to make a fire. (Not without hundreds of bug bites, of course) and played lots of Gaga ball. After we got tired, we headed over to the trail where we began our hike. We all packed food and necessities in our backpack, and started. while we were hiking, we were all out of breath from the incline so nobody was really talking, but Mr Wibbenmeier was glad to teach us all about the trees and bushes that we saw. Other than the few chants that we yelled to the unsuspecting victims that were on the trail, it was all quiet except for us breathing. Then we went into the building and all sat on each others laps in a row. Next, we all gathered around a fire for dinner; making hot dogs and marshmallows for us. I held a small marshmallow contest where I rated everyone’s cooking of marshmallow. Alex won first place.
After we got home, we played capture the flag in the dark and then were all very tired from our long day and after holding a meeting, we decided no aing aing tonight and went to sleep. In the morning we made French toast, and went back home after a successful campout.
