The purpose of this page is to highlight key impacts in Spring and Summer 2025
Faculty who teach during Summer 2025 have additional training options listed on the homepage.
Starting in Spring 2025 semester, Trinity will begin a transition from TigerPaws to Workday.
All activities that affect the Spring 2025 semester remain As Is, e.g., you will see rosters, use degree audits, and enter grades as usual through TigerPaws.
Only activities related to Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 registration take place in Workday during this Spring transition semester.
Learn more about the catalog pause through the visual. Three key factors drive the catalog pause.
1) Complexities and interdependencies of all student records and functions, 2) the volume of the curricular/programmatic changes, and 3) the annual COSB publication
The visual highlights key changes that impact faculty.
Faculty Advisors will see restrictions on students that prevent registration (holds).
Faculty can access course rosters in either Workday or Canvas. Course rosters will be visible in Canvas - refresh every 3 hours.
Profiles on student rosters in Workday will include additional student details, e.g., pronouns, phonetic pronunciation, and academic major.
Student Pass/Fail status is visible to instructors on the roster.
The source for official student records and rosters will be in Workday.
Faculty can manage their waitlist order and register students directly from the waitlist.
Waitlists are on all sections and faculty can use reserve capacities, e.g., faculty members can request the course make-up as mostly seniors, first years, majors, etc.
Faculty can waive prerequisites to let students register for their course section.
The project team is working on dashboards to provide access to relevant data for Deans, Department Chairs, and Program Directors.
Program Directors, Chairs, and Deans will be able to view rosters across courses in their areas.
