1: Complete Courses
Students need to complete the following credit requirements:
4 English Credits
4 Math Credits
3 Science Credits
3 Social Studies Credits
1 Fine Arts Credit
.5 Health Credit
.5 PE Credit
.5 Financial Literacy
8.5 Elective Credits
Total: 23 Credits
And take the following End of Course Exams:
Algebra I
English Language Arts II
Geometry
Biology
American History
American Government
2: Show Competency
Students need to show competency by hitting one of the following requirements:
Earning at least a 684 on the Algebra I EOC AND English II EOC
Demonstrate 2 career focused activities by doing one of the following:
Scoring a proficient score on 3+ WebXams
Earning a 12 point industry recognized credential
Complete a registered pre-apprenticeship/apprenticeship/show evidence of acceptance into an approved apprenticeship/earn a state issued license for a vocation
Earning a credit in a non-remedial math or English course for the EOC not passed
Enlist in the military
Earn a remediation free score in the math or English subject area of the ACT
3: Show Readiness
Students need to show readiness by earning at least two of the following seals:

Industry-Recognized Credential Seal (Ohio)
College-Ready Seal (Ohio)
Military Enlistement Seal (Ohio)
Citizenship Seal (Ohio)
Science Seal (Ohio)
Honors Diploma Seal (Ohio)
Seal of Biliteracy (Ohio) (Requirements linked here)
Technology Seal (Ohio)
Community Service Seal (Local)
Fine and Peforming Arts Seal (Local)
Student Engagement Seal (Local)
At least one seal must be a state defined seal. Trimble Local Schools provide support in attaining all of the above seals.
Honors Diploma Requirements - Must meet at least 7
Math: 4th math must be higher than Algebra 2
Science: One additional unit of Advanced Science
Social Studies: One additional unit of Social Studies
World Languages: Three sequential units of one world language, or no less than two sequential units of two world languages studied
GPA: 3.5 or higher unweighted GPA
ACT/SAT: Act score of 27 or higher, SAT score of 1280 or higher
Seals: Earn two additional seals, NOT including Honors Diploma Seal
Experiential Learning: Field Experience & Portfolio, OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal*, or Work-Based Learning
*Students can use OMJ Readiness Seal in 2 additional seals requirement if it is not used in Experiential Learning.
Students pursuing the Seal of Biliteracy need to fill out the Statement of Intent shown below. You can pick up a paper copy from Señora Conklin or Mrs. Miller.
