Every staff member must have a current IPDP in Frontline.
Please use your hire date as the start date of the IPDP.
If you have an Ohio-issued license, your IPDP end date is when your Ohio-issued license expires.
If you do not have a license, your IPDP end date is 5 years from the year you were hired, expiring on June 30. So, if you started August 14, 2023, your IPDP dates are 8/14/2023-6/30/2028.
Returning INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF:
For those with a state license, your IPDP must cover the dates of your current license(s).
No matter when you were hired, your IPDP will start on the certificate start date. If you have multiple licenses with different start/end dates, please review alignment here.
For those with a permanent license, you can create an IPDP that begins on your hire date and expires June 30, with the year being 5 years in the future (hired in 2020 - ending date is 2025). You must keep your IPDP current in Frontline, so please check your IPDP regularly.
Returning NON-INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF:
Your IPDP will be a 5-year plan.
If you were hired after July 1, 218, then the start date of your IPDP will be your start date. The ending date will be June 30, with the year being 5 years in the future (hired in 2020 - ending date is 2025).
The directions for creating an IPDP (video and step sheet) are below. Check out Sample IPDP Goals & PD Plan for examples you can use as you create your IPDP.
