ARTIST TALK - Elise Rasmussen

A year without summer is a video investigation of the origins of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein written in 1816 during severe climate abnormalities resulting from a volcanic eruption; this global environmental disaster led to food shortages across the Northern Hemisphere. Rasmussen's talk makes connections to themes in the Eco:Flux exhibition in Morlan Gallery.
