In this activity girls will complete several small programming projects that add enhancements to the Paint Pot app. Hints and suggestions are provided. This will also give them time to finish previous tutorials if they need to.

By completing this activity girls will
- apply their understanding of programming concepts (events, variables, conditionals) to add elements to their existing mobile apps.
- demonstrate their ability to problem solve in teams.
How to Implement
How to Implement
- Girls will work in the same teams of 3 or 4 that they did for the previous Paint Pot activities.
- For this activity they will add a series of enhancements to their Paint Pot app, including finishing up previous challenges if needed.
- Begin with the girls going to Thunkable and opening their last Paint Pot file. Have them do a Save As and name this new one with the corresponding number of the tutorial,like this:
TeamNamePaintPotFour_V1
- In this activity teams will add an option to their app that’s fun! Have a discussion about how to have a group decision when people have different opinions.
- Next, have the girls follow along with the Paint Pot 4 tutorial.
- Give them time to discuss some of the options for app enhancements and decide what they’re going to create as a team.
- Wrap-up discussion: Have the girls share what enhancements they made.
