All honors and gifted physical science students must complete a science fair project. The instruction on how to do the project will be covered in class, but the actual work on the project is the student's responsibility and will be carried out on their own time at home. The teacher will always be available for consultation. Both a project board and a properly written scientific paper must be turned in by the deadlines for the project to be considered complete.

Students will be given a copy of their textbook to bring home and use as a reference throughout the school year. In addition, the teacher will have the pertinent information on the Virtual Classroom.
