Presidents' Day

Presidents’ Day is celebrated on the third Monday in February. This day was originally established in 1885 in recognition of former president George Washington. In 1971, it became Presidents’ Day as part of the Uniform Holiday Act. It is now known as a day to celebrate past, present, and future presidents.
