Renewals can be submitted up to six months prior to the expiration date on your current license. You can check your credential information by clicking ksde.org-license look-up. All professional development points and college credits that are used for renewal must be documented and submitted on an official professional development transcript from your the district Professional Development Council. An official college transcript and an official professional development transcript are both required and must be submitted for any renewal using college credits.
One COLLEGE CREDIT = 20 professional development points
Any person submitting any of the following will ALSO be required to submit a complete set of fingerprints and the required fee AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
Who: Employee of the district
Fee: No charge for fingerprinting from district; $50 fee payable to KSDE for processing.

Note: If you don't bring the items listed above, the TPS police will not proceed with fingerprinting.
