What is a Catalog?
The catalog serves as an index that is an access point to all of the materials in the library.
Students will receive instruction on using the catalog index which organizes over ten thousand different resources in the library.
Our School Library Catalog
The catalog represents a huge investment in the Topeka Public School Media staff's time, training, equipment, technical support and ongoing updates. It is pivotal in encouraging staff and students to maximize their use of all of the library's materials.

- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Go to the Destiny site that you want to visit again in the future.
- To the right of the address bar, click Star .
You can search the HPC library with a basic Destiny Search! Students may use it to locate books and websites about a topic in the school library collection. They may also use it to finish an assignment at home, using the library catalog to find web articles and read them at their grade level. Visit the library catalog at school or home:

Select Highland Park Central Elementary School on the main TPS Library page. Look at the top of the page and click on the Catalog tab. The left side of this page has a list of links to the: Library Search, Destiny Quest, Destiny Discover, WebPath Express and a Resource List of non-fiction books.
