Healthy Habits for Good Health:
Click this link to view COVID Guidance
Wash hands frequently - use soap and water for 20 seconds, especially after you cough or sneeze. Use an alcohol based hand cleaner if soap and water are not available.
Cover your cough - cover your nose and mouth with a tissue, or sleeve.
Try not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth; germs often spread this way!
Stay home if you are ill! Do NOT attend events or school if you are sick.
Children who have a fever (>100℉), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or who need to take antibiotics for infections such as strep throat, conjunctivitis, ear infections, etc., should stay home. Antibiotics should be taken for 24 hours before returning to school.
Children must be fever free without fever reducing medicine for 24 hours. Also, free of vomiting and diarrhea for 24 hours before the return to school.
If covid positive stay at home for 5 days, may return on 6th day if feeling better with improved symptoms and no fever for 24 hours and wearing a mask. See COVID-19 guideline below, see link for additional information.
Dress for cold weather, wear a winter coat, scarf, mittens or gloves, and a hat.
If you would like your child to wear a mask at school, please provide one for their use. TPS does not provide for masks at school.
