COVID-19 Update: Due to circumstances brought about by COVID-19, the RBRC will be offering all services through virtual platforms
Students may now schedule tutoring appointments through Toro Success Collaborative (TSC), which can be accessed through csudh.campus.eab.com.
The Writing Center offers two types of virtual tutoring: Online (synchronous) and E-Tutoring (asynchronous).
Online Tutoring is similar to a normal in-person tutoring session. Once you create an appointment, you will speak with a tutor over video, or through a chat log, to review your writing together. To make an Online Tutoring Appointment, click here.
eTutoring is where you submit your draft via our online tutoring platform, and a tutor reviews it and sends it back to you. There is no conversation between you and the tutor, although you can still let them know your main concerns about the paper in the appointment information box when you submit your draft. This is not a proofreading service; the tutor will provide suggestions and respond to your writing as a reader, but they will not make “edits” or “corrections” to your work. To make an E-Tutoring Appointment, click here.
Student Psychological Services will temporarily be offering tele-health (which will include telephone and/or video conferencing) in lieu of in-person services. Operating hours are Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., but please call (310) 243-3818 at any time if you are interested in psychological services.
IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE HAVING A PSYCHOLOGICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
If you are in need of any services or would like to schedule an appointment with the Basic Needs Coordinator, Morgan Kirk, please schedule a Zoom meeting. If you do not have access to the internet, please specify that you would like to have a phone appointment.
If you are in need of any CalFresh services, they will be providing services to assist you via Zoom, FaceTime, and/or via text. Our hours will be Monday through Thursday 10 am - 2 pm. Call or text: (213) 610-7121. You may also make an appointment by email: calfresh@csudh.edu.
The Basic Needs Program offers a multitude of resources on and off campus that will alleviate basic need challenges such as food, housing, transportation, or mental and health challenges. For more information, visit the Basic Needs website.
The Title IX Office is available during business hours to respond to questions and meet remotely via phone, Zoom, and text.
