The Rose Black Resource Center's programming budget is primarily funded by Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI) through its Operational Budget. Currently, ASI allocates a total of $100,000 to the Multicultural Affairs Department which is then distributed among the following centers: Rose Black Resource Center, Toro Dreamers Success Center, Queer Culture and Resource Center, and the Multicultural Center (to support Latinx and APIMESA programming)
For the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the Rose Black Resource Center has been allocated $20,000.
The Rose Black Resource Center receives limited financial support from the University's Operational Budget. Money allocated from the University's Operational Budget to the Center, fund the salaries of professional staff (i.e. the Program Director). Currently, the Center does not receive any guaranteed funds from the University. However, historically, the University has worked proactively in finding additional funds to help supplement the funding the Center receives from ASI.
Due to the State budget deficit, additional funds from the University remains unclear for 2020-2021.
