Draft Covid Health and Safety posters (May 2020)
Students must:
- Avoid hugs and physical contact at ALL times. Keep physical distancing so students are not breathing on each other
- Students must sanitise hands BEFORE they enter a classroom
- be able to interpret the posters provided that have been put up in every classroom.
- be able to wash their hands using the 20 second-hand wash method as well as the 20 second drying method with a paper-towel.
- wash hands before eating, and after sneezing, coughing, blowing their nose, going to the toilet and eating
- cough and sneeze into elbow or by covering their mouth and noses with tissues
- try to avoid touching their faces
- NO SPITTING
Cleaning
- Every classroom will have hand-sanitizer, soap and paper towels available at all times
- Students are to disinfect their desks and chairs at the end of the day
- Students will disinfect chromebooks before using
Feeling sick or injuries
- When students feel unwell students must be send to the sickbay and go home. Parents will be phoned by the office.
Drinking Foundations
- Drinking Foundations are turned off under level 2. Students will need to bring their OWN water bottles and have them clearly named. Paper cups will be provided for each class and will be labelled for those students who do not have water bottles.
Playground/Sports Equipment
- 20 students only will be allowed in the playground area
- Sports equipment will be made available however equipment MUST be sanitised before and after use , as well as students must hand-wash and dry (or sanitized) before and after using the equipment.
Cell-phones
- Cell-phones are to be handed into the classroom teacher, they are to be named, labelled and locked away in a clear lock bag.
Tuckshop
- No sharing of food allowed
- Line up spaced out
- Duty teacher to be vigilant around this area
