You will be enrolled in the MEXT Mutual Aid Association on the date of hiring. The association's website can be found here. To complete this process, please submit the necessary documents to the AIMR accounting section.
・If you have a My Number health insurance card, you will be given a "Notice of Eligibility Information (paper)" after completing the eligibility acquisition procedure. Please start using your My Number health insurance card once you receive the "Notice of Eligibility Information."
・If you do not have a valid My Number health insurance card, you will be given an "Eligibility Confirmation Certificate (card type or A4 paper)" after completing the procedure. You will need to submit an application form to receive the eligibility confirmation certificate. For more information, please refer to the My Number health insurance card verification flow chart.
*In addition, foreigners who are hired for the first time in Japan will also receive their My Number card within one/two weeks of applying at the municipal office, so we will issue information or certification after confirming the My Number related documents without exception.
* In order to use the My Number card as a Myna insurance card, you need to start the procedure.
The procedure can also be done from the card reader of the medical institution.
