My name is Ella Roberts and I am the founder and strategic lead of the TKAT Women's Network. I have worked at TKAT for 12 years in a range of leadership roles including Deputy Headteacher, Headteacher, plus various trust wide roles. I have a wealth of leadership experience and I also hold a senior level coaching accreditation. My passion is supporting others to achieve and this network allows me to support so many amazing women across the trust and beyond.
Throughout my own career, I have been able to successfully work at a high level of senior leadership whilst still staying part time and managing motherhood. More recently I also suffered a spinal injury and so have experience of navigating the world or work with a disability.
Personally, I am a perimenopausal mom of 2 teenage boys and have navigated the challenges of being a working mum through nursery, school, GCSEs and now navigating the world of supporting my son into university
I am happy to have a conversation with anyone who would like to support us to continue to grow and strengthen the network and would welcome any ideas for how we can continue to support women at work. I am also happy to offer coaching to any women who would like to develop their self confidence and be prepared and confident to take the next step in their career.

Hello, I am Cat McKeever, and I am proud to say that I am a founding member of EducateHer. I have worked for Kemnal for the past 13 years and have held several different roles, including Class Teacher, Deputy Headteacher, and CPD Lead. I am now a Professional Learning Lead in the LDN as well as an accredited coach.
Outside of work, I am a mum to three daughters- aged 20, 18, and 17 -and I have spent the past four years navigating the world of hormones (mine and theirs), GCSE/A-level stress, and the transition to university. I also have caring responsibilities outside of my home, as my mother has long-term health issues and lives in a care home.
I passionately believe that as women, we need to lift each other up. I have been in too many rooms where colleagues (both male and female) don’t shout loudly enough about the skills and brilliance of others.
I am more than happy to jump on a phone call or Google Meet if there is ever anyone I can support, so please feel free to reach out.

Hey, I'm Emma, and I am a member of the TKAT Women's Network and a founding member of this EducateHER Platform. I've spent my career in the world of HR over 20 plus years and have worked in TKAT for nearly 12 years.
I am always happy to support any members of the community with a friendly listening ear. Sometimes having some one to talk to in a similar situation to you can simply help you share and feel less alone when navigating a situation be that in your personal or professional life.
Besides being a in the People and Culture team I'm also a daughter supporting my father in caring for my mother with long-term health conditions. I'm a mother to a train-obsessed 10-year-old about to navigate the education system into the secondary phase. I would appreciate any advice, hints, or tips on how to prepare my son and myself (and let's be honest mainly me) for this next educational journey.
I have also worked closely with a domestic abuse charity in my role to look at ways we can support those who are victims, witnesses, or survivors of domestic abuse.

Hello!
I was delighted to be invited to join the EducateHer team, where my main role has been creating and developing the website, as well as managing and populating its content.
I have worked at Chichester High School for Boys, and subsequently Chichester High School following the merger, since 2005. Over the years, I have held a wide variety of roles, gaining valuable experience and insight across many aspects of school life. I never imagined that asking to open a school Facebook page would lead to a role that I truly love doing today - but that simple request sparked a journey into digital communications and website development that has grown ever since.
A few years ago, I joined Kemnal (The Kemnal Academies Trust), further broadening my experience within the education sector.
Prior to working in education, I spent 18 years as a Supervisor at Marks & Spencer, where I developed organisational, commercial leadership, HR and customer service skills.
My husband, who has recently retired from teaching at Chichester High School, and I are very proud parents of two children, now aged 27 and 25.
