Hello Parents - News from the Yangshuo team - They have arrived safely in Yangshuo!! Greeted by rain they headed straight to a restaurant.

I want to see Yangshuo!! Well I can spy some mountains......

We headed back to our hotels by 7:00 and went stargazing from 8 to 9.

Today we went rock climbing at Winebottle mountain, named aptly for its wine bottle shape. There were a few rope courses, varying in difficulty. We also learned how to use latches and latch keys as an alternative way to anchor ourselves. Tying a Figure 8 Follow Through knot was also one of the things we learned to do today. We also did a tightrope activity.

Most of the time in day 4 was spent exploring the Devil Cave, rock climbing and abseiling through a world of stalactites and stalagmites. Together, we experienced the perpetual darkness of nature and relished the hidden beauty of the natural world. 

As usual, we continued on with climbing. Today we went to a cave and tried out up-hanging. 

Today, we're taking a break from rock climbing. Let's go try out kayaking and mountain biking!

We went back to the West Street to get lunch. Yummy! We're going to need a lot of energy for our muddy biking trip this afternoon.

On day seven--the last day of our trip, some of us went in-cave bouldering, and others went for a stroll next to the Yulong River. 

In the afternoon, we headed back to Macau on a high speed train, and got back to TIS around 7:00.
