ACT Dates

ACT - usually taken by Juniors and Seniors to be able to apply to colleges. Some colleges are still waiving the ACT - you will need to check with the college to see. Test dates are the same around the country so if the student/guardian would like the test taken at a different site, other options are available on their website when registering. You can visit this site for free practice materials.

To register: Go to the ACT website to create an account and register for a test. 

$68 cost to register. Register for the NON-Writing test and Science is Optional!

  Where: Tipton High School offers testing on certain dates. ACT has the right to change your testing location if there are not enough students registered. If this happens, you can switch to a different date. This will be emailed to you at the email you submit during registration. Tipton High School does NOT have control over ACT's decisions about this test. 

If you receive Free lunch, you may qualify for a reduced ACT fee. If you think this will apply to you, you will need to notify Kim Barber at least a month before the test dates registration deadline so paperwork can get done for this!
