Christian Values
As a church school, we have a particular concern to be communities where all are appreciated and respected, where children are helped to reach their full potential, and where they are given a firm foundation for life.

At Bardwell, pupils take part in daily Collective Worship based around core Christian Values. These values are rooted in the Bible and are explored and developed appropriately so that they can be appreciated at all levels of understanding within the different age groups. Key celebrations in the Christian calendar, as well as those from other faiths, are also explored during collective worship (assemblies).
To help us with Collective Worship we welcome regular visits from our ‘Open the Book’ team, who dramatise stories from the Bible with the children. We also enjoy worship led by a variety of guest speakers, including those from the local church.
Bardwell had a SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) in November 2016 and was found to be 'Good or Outstanding' in all areas.

Parents and carers may, if they so wish, withdraw their children from the arrangements for collective worship; such requests should be made to the headteacher in writing.
