After-school Talent Program 

Offering Extension, Enrichemnt & Diversification in Visual Arts


After-school Talent Program is one of the art programs offered to Form 1 to Form 5 Visual Arts students. This diversified art program aims to develop the students’ artistic qualities. The students will have the opportunity to learn and practise a form of art of their choice. Those who demonstrate excellence in their work and commitment to participation will be recognised and encouraged to share their experiences with the others. Eighteen lessons will be arranged throughout the whole year. 

PAPER CRAFT MAKING 傳統 x 創新:紮作藝術創作

Drawing and Painting Room / Every Monday


Students will learn how to create paper craft products, which are shaped with solid bamboo, strips of bamboo and rice paper, in addition to silk fabric. After the 3D skeleton is formed, its body gets painted and assembled. Students will not only learning the traditional skills, but also exploring the possibilities of art creations with our imagination & connecting new meanings from our heritage to our everyday experiences.

3-D MIXED MEDIA CREATION 立體混合媒體創作

Arts speak differently to everyone, depending on personal taste, sentimental experiences and what stage of life you find yourself. This course will learn various production processes of different medium of art. Additive, subtractive, and manipulation techniques will be used with various media to explore the sculptural form. 

FILM x EXPERIMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY 菲林 x 實驗攝影創作

It is designed to support students as they test the boundaries of the common understanding of photography and pursue informed experimentation with processes and materials. It focuses on the meaning and modes of cameraless photography and abstraction and explore the language of the photogram, a cameraless image closely related to the mono-print, in cyanotype and in the darkroom. 

ART IN COMIC 漫畫魔法

Printmaking Room / Every Monday


This course is designed for the learners with imagination, who are interested in learning how to create comic books or stories, but have never completed one before. By actively applying new concepts as you learn, you will get a head start on using the skills you gain to make positive changes in your vision. At the end, you will have a finished project that you’ll be proud to share.

FASHION DESIGN 時裝設計

Understanding the basic fashion design elementarily through interesting, creative and challenging workshops and games etc. doll’s draping cutting workshop, green materials workshop, printing workshop, fast sketching games.... To inspire students and share the ways how to develop their own fashion design collections. Everyone can be a fashion designer. 

CERAMICS WORKSHOP I - Elementary 陶藝工作坊 I - 初級

Ceramics Room / Every Monday


Students will learn how to prepare clay and use different hand building techniques. Starting from pinching, coiling, slab building and wheel throwing to make various forms of containers and even sculpture. Hand building techniques are great for free form potteries. Ceramic is not only acts as functional objects. In the lessons, students will enjoy a journey of 3D creation.

Drawing and painting are visual art forms that can take a lifetime to master but practising them is something you can start enjoying from the moment you pick up a paint brush or pencil. There’s no need to stick with just one style – try out many different ones until you find the ones that inspire you the most!

DIGITAL ART WORKSHOP 數碼藝術

This is a beginner course of digital art. It introduces the image editing software and its essential tools. You will learn what layers and brushes are, as well as how to blend color and add detailing. Explore how to tell a story with images and graphics.

Are you interested in woodwork? 

The course provides detailed and comprehensive step by step sequences for woodworking skill-building. Learn how to use hand tools and power tools in your woodworking. 

PAINTING WORKSHOP II - INTERMEDIATE 繪畫工作坊 II - 中級

This course is a comprehensive overview of the materials, approaches, techniques and elements of Oil & Acrylic painting. This course is suitable for new and experienced young artists, the course will build your painting skills and confidence in the medium of acrylic paint. 

PRINTMAKING AND DESIGN WORKSHOP 版畫及設計工作坊

A variety of printmake-related techniques, such as screen printing and relief printing will be introduced. Students are able to explore the development of their own ideas, such as making creative prints and original products based on the skills and practical practices covered in this program. Finally, you will work on mixed medium prints or illustrative prints for your project for an exhibition.

Playing with Cardboard! 

Learn to transform your favourite subjects into cardboard sculptures, playing with shape, volume, and scale. The course introduce the art of paper sculpture, develop varieties of ideas and methods transforming 2D shapes into 3D structures. Foster creativity and imagination through designing and creating animal sculptures.

The digital design industry is rapidly evolving, with emerging technologies transforming the way that product are designed and manufactured. The course will give you an in-depth understanding of industry-standard design software. It will cover the area of traditional 2D printing & publication and 3D laser cut product production. 


CERAMICS WORKSHOP II - INTERMEDIATE  陶藝工作坊 II - 中級

The practice-led intermediate course is for students who have a basic knowledge of working with clay and who would like to further explore the processes of ceramic production. Students will build on existing skills and learn more advanced techniques on wheel-throwing and explore the hand building with colour clays. In the lessons, students will have time to develop their personal project.
