AQA GCSE Sociology is taught as a choice subject within KS4 at Kelvin Hall School. The subject aims to broaden pupils’ minds in studying society from a wide variety of perspectives. We seek to debate and consider arguments ranging from ‘what is the real function of the family?’ to ‘what causes people to commit a criminal activity?’. Sociology is a facilitating subject and helps the development of a base of skills relevant to a broad range of career opportunities.
