Supervision is a cornerstone of professional development for clinicians at all stages. I offer collaborative, growth-oriented clinical supervision for LCSWs, LMHCs, and other mental health professionals seeking to enhance their clinical skills, case conceptualization abilities, and professional identity.
I have worked in the mental health field since 2014 and earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boston College in 2019. The majority of my training and experience took place at McLean Hospital, where I developed expertise in treating complex trauma, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety across various levels of care. Now, as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with my own private practice, I provide clinical supervision that is both structured and tailored to your unique needs. I am DBT-trained and incorporate psychodynamic techniques into my clinical work.
I provide clinical supervision for pre-licensed clinicians, including LCSWs, LMHCs, and other associates working toward independent licensure. I also work with early-career therapists seeking additional consultation and guidance, experienced clinicians looking for ongoing supervision and mentorship, and therapists in private practice who want a supportive space for case consultation and ethical decision-making.
Supervision includes case consultation and clinical formulation to deepen understanding of complex cases and refine treatment planning. It also focuses on diagnostic and conceptualization skills, helping clinicians strengthen their ability to assess, diagnose, and conceptualize cases through a psychodynamic and relational lens. I integrate DBT skills and psychodynamic insights to enhance patient care, provide guidance on navigating ethical dilemmas, countertransference, and professional boundaries, and offer strategies for skill development using psychodynamic therapy, relational therapy, and trauma-informed care.
Supervision also supports professional identity and growth, whether clinicians are launching a private practice, transitioning roles, or seeking mentorship. Additional areas of focus include crisis intervention, effective case management strategies, and direct patient care. I provide guidance on practice management and networking, including opening and managing a private practice, collaborating with providers and programs, and leveraging my network of local connections. For pre-licensed clinicians, I assist in navigating the process of applying for independent licensure, understanding CEU requirements, and preparing for the transition to full licensure.
I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field, including training at McLean Hospital and work across PHP, IOP, community, residential, and outpatient settings. I have extensive supervisory expertise, balancing clinical skill-building, case consultation, and professional development. My clinical approach incorporates DBT techniques alongside psychodynamic and relational therapy to provide well-rounded supervision. I have hands-on experience in opening and managing a private practice, navigating insurance, and building professional networks. My approach to supervision is flexible and collaborative, tailoring sessions to each clinician’s needs, whether they seek structured case review, reflective processing, or professional mentorship.
