Starting therapy can bring up a lot. Whether you’re new to it or returning, I focus on creating a space where you can be honest, feel grounded, and get what you need.
I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and life changes.
My style is collaborative and down-to-earth,
pulling from relational, trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and DBT-based approaches.
Here’s what to know before we get started:
INSURANCE & FEES
I do not contract with any insurance panels, but I do provide superbills that can be submitted for out of network reimbursement.
Intake Appointment: $250
60 minute session: $200
Clients with out-of-network benefits may be eligible for partial/full reimbursement.
I provide superbills —these include the necessary codes for diagnosis and services,
along with all the information your insurance company typically needs.
You can submit this form for reimbursement or keep it for your records.
You’re responsible for understanding your plan’s out-of-network coverage.
To check your benefits, contact your insurance company’s member services line.
Some helpful questions to ask:
What are my mental health or behavioral health benefits?
Does my plan cover out-of-network providers? If so, what’s the reimbursement rate for sessions with a social worker?
What is my out-of-network deductible, and have I met it?
How do I submit for reimbursement?
Is there a session limit per year?
Free Consultation Call
Before starting therapy, I offer a free 15–30 minute phone call to learn more about what you’re looking for and make sure I’m the right fit for your needs. I’ll ask a few questions about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.
You’re welcome to ask me questions too, but there’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot.
INTAKE PAPERWORK
Once we decide to move forward, I’ll send you intake forms to complete before our first session.
These forms cover basic info, consent for treatment, practice policies, and (if applicable) insurance details.
All paperwork is sent electronically and can be completed securely online.
If you have any questions about the forms or run into issues, I’m happy to walk you through it.
