Extra Purchasing Items:

Below you will find the costume and shoe requirements for your dancers group routines for this upcoming competitive season. These are all the items that are required for families to purchase, and will not be purchased through the studio, similar to the hair and makeup. All hair and makeup links can be found here. Please have everything purchased by January 18th 2025.

SCHEDULE CHANGE NOTE:

Starting on APRIL 14th, Shining Stars will be done on WEDNESDAY's at 815pm instead of 745pm.

Routines for the 2024/25 season:

Solo/duet/trio - performed only at competitions
Extended Line - performed at competition and recital

1 contemp group - performed at competition and recital
1 jazz group - performed at competition and recital
1 ballet group - performed only at recital

Syllabus levels 24/25 season:

At the Pointe Dance Centre, we follow the following syllabi for all of our dancers. We feel it is important for all dancers to be progressing through well crafted, safe and highly effective syllabus' throughout the entirety of their dance journey.

Year Round Schedule

This schedule will run from Sept 9th-June 29th.

Orientation Schedule

The Dance Team Orientation weekend is always a huge hit for all involved dancers and teachers! This year, we are adding in a Dance Team Parent Meeting.

This meeting is an opportunity for parents to understand everything that will be happening throughout the entire year. It is very important to attend this meeting so you and your dancer are ready to take on this season with us!

Winter Rehearsal Schedule

This rehearsal is where the dancers will clean and clarify their competitive routines ahead of showcase. As for this reason they are fully mandatory for all dancer to attend. Please be sure to take notes of the date and time.

EXTENDED LINE: 215-515pm

Fall Rehearsal Schedule

These rehearsals are where the dancers will learn their competitive choreography for the year. As for this reason they are fully mandatory for all dancer to attend. Please be sure to take notes of all the dates and times.

*Oct 6th is only for Extended Line. Other dances only need 4 hours in the fall.
