K: Be kind to others

Write a letter or email: Write a supportive message to a family member who may be feeling lonely during the lockdown.

Be helpful: Offer to help a vulnerable or elderly neighbour or family member. That might include picking up some shopping for them or just ringing them for a chat.

Be thankful: Write an email saying thank you to the teachers who have supported you throughout your time at TKA.

Care for others: Write a letter to a friend who you think may be struggling in the lockdown. Let them know you are there for them.

Cook: Bake something or cook a meal for your household. This might be a welcome change for who ever usually cooks in your home!

Be loving: Tell your sister/brother that you love them. Help them out with one of the tasks they have to do today or spend some quality time with them, maybe try a board game!

Make a bird feeder: Make an easy bird feeder to welcome birds into your garden. Some ideas can be found HERE.

Create: Create a Feel-Good sign to put in your window to cheer people up as the walk past your home.

Make masks: Make face coverings for your family, friends, neighbours – and yourself. Sew or no-sew. Find instructions HERE.

Make a donation: .....to people hit especially hard by the economic shutdown. No matter how small, every little bit helps. If you're able to make a gift, HERE is a good place to start.
