Hello!

My name is Cassandra Stowe and I am the Library/Media Specialist at the GLOBE Academy's Lower Campus. My roll is to run the library, collaborate with teachers, and foster an enthusiasm for reading among our diverse and wonderful Kindergartern through Third Grade classes.

I began my career as a Library/Media Specialist in 2023 at The GLOBE Academy. Before I began my teaching career, I worked for bookstores such as Barnes & Noble and Half Price Books, running their Children's, Young Readers, and Teen book sections, which helped me understand current book trends and what gets young people excited about reading.

I have an MA in Communications and Media Studies from Brenau University and a BFA in Theatre from Valdosta State University. I plan on pursuing my certification in School Library Media next year.
