PROGRAMMING:
After campers are dropped off in the morning, they'll start their day with a whole-group morning meeting to connect with their counselors and fellow campers, and go over the schedule for the day. Next, they’ll complete their daily farm chores, such as cleaning out the animal paddocks and collecting eggs. They’ll have time to rest afterwards, and enjoy a light snack. The next part of the day will involve two hands-on learning experiences, followed by lunch. After lunch concludes, campers will go on a nature walk to explore the forest grounds. Next, campers will engage in the final two hands-on learning experiences for the day. They’ll have time to rest afterwards and enjoy a light snack. Before packing up to go home, campers will participate in fun outdoor field games, time with the farm animals (such as chickens, bunnies, or alpacas), water play (hoses, water balloons, and even visits from the Bedford Fire Department, who cool us off on super hot days), and more! Please note that the daily schedule is subject to change.
