Attendance Policies
Cancellation Policy: We often have waitlisted campers. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, and we want to offer other children the opportunity to attend if your child cannot. Please provide cancellation notice by phone or email to camp@thecollaborative.us. Please do not contact camp staff via text message.
No-Show Policy: If your child does not attend camp without at least 24 hours' notice, it will be considered a "no-show." A $15 fee will be charged to your child's account. This policy ensures all campers have an equal opportunity to participate.
Sick Policy: Please do not send your child to camp if they are sick or have a fever. If your child is ill or unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify us as soon as possible. This policy protects the health and safety of all participants.
Late Arrival or Early Departure: If your child will arrive late or leave early, please inform us in advance so we can adjust their schedule and ensure their participation in planned activities.
Medical Emergencies: While we prioritize the health and well-being of all campers, accidents can occur. Accurate contact information is essential for us to notify you promptly in case of a medical need. We will contact the emergency contacts listed on your child's registration form and provide updates as available. If your child requires medical attention, we will seek necessary treatment and contact you as soon as possible.
Waitlist Policy & Procedure: Our summer camp waitlist operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a camp session reaches capacity, new registrations will be added to the waitlist.
Waitlist Notification: If a spot becomes available, the camp director will contact the next person on the waitlist by phone or email as soon as possible, providing ample time for preparation.
Acceptance and Confirmation: If your child is offered a spot from the waitlist, you will have a limited time to accept and complete the registration process. Upon confirmation, you will receive all necessary details, including session date and time, camp rules and guidelines, and required items.
