Welcome to High School Science
Biology was the focus of science this year. We looked at it mostly from a microbiology viewpoint and studied how things work. We started the year looking at biology basic and plant and animal cells. From here we studied pathogens by comparing viruses and bacteria, both good and bad. Next was Energy Flows where we looked at Ecosystems, Photosynthesis, Cellular Respiration, Enzymes and ATP and how they are connected to each other. The year ended by studying the Greenhouse Effect along with CO2 levels and the effect on Climate Change.
