Waste

Waste is something which is no longer useful and it is generally discarded. This means that it is useless and is mostly thrown away. It is important for people to know about waste because they should know how to recycle in a way that is really good and healthy for the environment. Tons of garbage are produced by each household each year and is thrown away. Even some items that can still be used or recycled are thrown away as waste which is hurting the earth's ecosystem. Due to increase in demand for food, shelter and housing, more goods are produced, and currently each human is wasting the resources in the planet over his/her lifetime.

Most waste is buried underground in landfill sites. This hurts the ecosystem by polluting soil and water and changing the diets of animals in the area, causing them to become hurt or sick.

• One way you can reduce waste is to only take the products you need
• In case you have too many products, recycle them as much as possible
• try to buy fewer plastic products, but when you do, recycle them at a recycling center
