Director of Cricket - Michael Tillett

In 2018 Takapuna Grammar School appointed Michael Tillett as the Director of Cricket. In his role as Director of Cricket, Michael (a Level 2 Coach) will be responsible for leading and managing the whole cricket programme at the school, as well as coaching the 1^st XI boys team. Michael holds this role, in conjunction with a teaching position in geography at the school, so is also be a vital link within the school for the cricket players.

As a former premier cricket player for Takapuna and Grafton Cricket Clubs, a member of the coaching teams for Auckland U19s and U17s for several years, and former Head Coach of Westlake Boys High School 1^st XI, TGS is excited to have someone of Michael’s talent and experience.
