"Coyote Heist" Summary: LA in 2050 is a haven of biodiversity. Female coyote Zoë strays into a homeless encampment on the outskirts of Pasadena, where she falls in love with the border collie Bowser. Bowser's owner, Margot, and Zoë experience in different ways how conflicts over who belongs into urban communities play out. During an encampment sweep, Bowser is picked up by Animal Control, and Zoë enlists the help of urban birds and rodents to help track him down to the animal shelter and later the anti-coyote activist who has adopted him, Stephanie. The multispecies team invades Stephanie's property, overcomes her electric surveillance during the pre-Olympic blackout, and takes Bowser back to Margot. The final scene confronts Zoë's domestic family with her old pack in a brief encounter between Pasadena's new and old multispecies communities.
We're looking to cast Margot, her friend Olga, Animal Control Officer Lakshmi, animal rescue activist Stephanie, two men in a park, and a variety of smaller voice parts. We are not planning to use live voices for animal characters. Actors will be paid in accordance with UCLA regulations for student work.

1. Slate
- Include your name, height, and base location.

If your character has a song, include it, along with one additional brief cut of your own (pop, rock, or contemporary musical theatre). If not, just submit one brief cut of a pop, rock, or contemporary musical theatre song.
Please upload each video as a separate clip and label them clearly.
Audition Materials:
You can also check out the EP (5 songs from the show) on Spotify or wherever you stream music. We urge you to “make it your own”. Please use the recorded version of the songs as a launchpad. We are not looking for anyone to imitate or copy the vocals as recorded. Please bring your own talents, nuance and vibrancy to these songs.
