Phase III of Identification Process

The Identification Placement Committee consists of the Gifted and Talented teacher, the student’s classroom teacher, the principal, and G/T Facilitator.  This committee decides all cases referred by the G/T teacher.  To consider the placement of each student, the committee analyzes the student profile that includes documented information.   A placement decision for the program requires the consensus of all committee members.  Any decision of the committee may be appealed to the Superintendent of Schools.
