School PE Tennis

School Tennis allows all students to experience success regardless of age, ability, or background through cooperative and play-based skills and activities. The foremost principle is the use of modified tennis equipment that makes the game fun, safe, and engaging from the moment a child first picks up a racquet.

CTAs across Texas can become a School Partner through the School Partnership Program, providing schools with the opportunity to receive a FREE tennis equipment kit for their PE classes. CTAs can also partner with schools for after-school programs, helping students take their first steps in transitioning from the gym to the tennis court.

The focus of the School Partnership Program is to create partnerships between schools, local tennis providers, and USTA Texas to give students the opportunity to learn, play, and enjoy the game of tennis.
