Writing at Home
A video series to teach your child how to write at home!
Hello, parents! The second-most important thing your child can do at home that will help them improve as a student is to write. Of course, the most important is reading, and many of your children are doing that consistently. Students who don’t write at home will become farther behind in their learning.
In this video series, I begin by teaching the necessary skills to write successfully, including how to get started and what tools are needed. Then I become your child’s “writing buddy” by writing quietly together to build writing stamina. Play one of the videos for your child, and I will keep them accountable to their writing. Plus, with them writing quietly, you’ll be able to engage in the work you need to complete.
After completing the video series, your child will have the skills and the ability to be engaged in writing for long periods of time, wherever they are.
