Commuter Info
Commuter students participate in our program from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday. This includes all academic class, lunch, afternoon electives and activities during the week.
Lunch - commuter students will eat in the same dining hall as residential students.
Students have the option of adding in weekend excursions at the rate of $125/day. Saturday students will have a tour of the Boston area and Sunday students will go to Six Flags New England.
For Saturday at Boston we depart at 9:30AM so they should get to Benjamin Franklin by 9AM. For Sunday at Six Flags the bus departs at 10AM.
They should be picked up at about 8:30PM on Saturday after Boston and they should be picked up at about 6:30PM
All Commuter students are welcome and encouraged to join dinner on the first Sunday evening (after check-in) and to stay for our get-to-know you activities. Students should be picked up by 8:30 pm. They are also expected to participate in our final evening celebration on the last Thursday of the course.
Commuter students should check in on the first Sunday of the program. If you are unable to check in on Sunday, you should go directly to Watson Center at 60 Sachem St, New Haven, CT at 8:45 on the first Monday.
After the first Monday of the program, Commuter students should go directly to their classrooms at Watson Center at 60 Sachem St, New Haven at 9:00am. Criminal and Forensic Science students should check in with the staff during check-in on Sunday about where to meet in the morning.

Government Issued or School Issued Photo ID (Identification Card, Driver’s License, Passport)
Money (almost everything is covered in tuition, but you may want to bring some spare cash for snacks or souvenirs for family and friends).
Laptop + charger: please bring a computer for your academic course. Please note that SSB is not responsible for lost or damaged laptops.
