Taught by Lisa Klein
This year we will be examining different types of news mediums while we discuss bias in the news, anti-Semitism, how to identify fake news and more. As we discover Jewish current events together, we will become journalists and reporters, creating our own news articles, newscasts and more. Check out the bulletin board outside our classroom for samples of our fantastic work!
Morah Lisa (or Morah Eliezrah)
What we did this week:
March 20: This week we all finished our latest current events projects and prepared to present to the class after spring break. We return on April 10, have a great Pesach and enjoy the break!
March 6: Today was another creative day working on our group choice projects. The students are excited to showcase what they have been learning!
February 27: Today was a creative day for us. Each group started working on their props or posters for their upcoming news projects. Everyone seemed to have fun letting their creative juices flow!
Make up work: All make up work is due the Tuesday after the missed class. Please either bring something to class or send me an email (lisa.klein@templehatikvahnj.org) to let me know it has been done in order to receive credit for the work. If I am not shown that the classwork was made up by the following week, students will not receive credit for it, even if it is made up later on.
