Llama Unleashes the Alpacalypse

- In the elementary setting, type "llama" into the search bar
- Do the same with "alpaca"
- How are they different? How are they the same?
Britannica School offers many resources, such as images, videos, and higher level articles. Now search for other animals. What did you learn?

Stick around and listen to Unplugged Ninja, by Mary Nhin.
In this story, Ninja realizes he does not like the way he acts when he spends TOO much time on his electronics. He learns that, as long as he remembers to do the "3R's", he feels much happier, sleeps better, and isn't so angry. What do you do for your "3R's" (Reset, Reconnect, Relax) to keep your mind and body healthy?

1 Cup milk*
1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 Cup salt

It's the week of May 4, so we celebrate all things Star Wars by saying, "May the 4th be with you!". Try many of these cool games, challenges, creations to get in the mood! And if you're like me, and not totally up on "Star Wars" history, don't worry! You'll figure it out, and have a great time!

Library activity #3
Many families are struggling right now, having to balance work with kids at home. In the story, The Paper Kingdom, by Helena Ku Rhee, Daniel sees how hard is parents work all night long. Ask the adults in your home what they remember about their parents or grandparents going to work. Did they ever get to watch them work? What do you think Daniel will do differently, now that he's seen how messy the Paper Kingdom is? What have YOU learned?
STEM Activity #3: Make a Paper Airplane, with love!
This was originally a Valentine project, but I think adding something heartfelt to your airplane makes it special! Write a nice message, include a drawing, or just sail it off to someone you love!
