7th Gr. Course Description:
Hello, I’m happy you are in my class!
This is a brief overview of what we will be doing during the year.
We will learn about Regions and Native Americans, The Age of Contact, Mexican Texas, Settlement to Republic, Republic to Statehood, The Civil War Era, The Reconstruction Era, Texas Government, The Frontier 1865-1900, Modern Texas 1901-1929, Depression and War 1929-1950, and Growth and Change 1950 to Now.
Supplies you will need:
- Charged Chromebook and Charger
- Earbuds or headphones (Optional)
- One 1 Subject Notebook (Spiral is preferred.)
- Writing Utensils every day in class:
- Blue and Red pens,
- Mechanical pencil or Pencils and eraser,
- Markers,
- Coloring pencils, and
- Roll of tape.
