Monologues

For Spring Production auditions you will be allowed to choose your own monologues. You will need two monologues and they should meet the following qualifications:

• 60-90 seconds in length (including your slate)

• 1 - Dramatic in content

• 1 - Comedic in content

Your slate should met the following qualifications:

• Includes

  • Name

  • Grade Level

  • Name of Monologue

• Does NOT include

  • Additional biographical information

  • Synopsis of play/scene from which the monologue comes from

  • Cue words such as "start" or "scene"

  • Apologies for illness or lack of preparedness
