For each show you are auditoning for:
Check the theatre department calendar for conflicts and availability for rehearsals and performances
Read the Synopsis of the shows
Read the Character Breakdowns
If Required, please choose, prepare, and memorize the cuts from the Vocal Selections and Sides.
Read the Theatre Handbook and then print and bring a signed acknowledgement form and Program Consent and Release (last two pages of handbook) to auditions. (If you are in a theatre class and have already turned in a copy to your teacher, you are covered!)
Fill out the Audition Form.
If auditioning for One Act Play, please craft a 300 word essay on why you want to be a part of One Act Play. Essays should be typed, printed and brought with you to the first day of auditions. (Please do not ask the directors to print for you).
Wear appropriate attire for auditions (Solid color shirts, pants, shorts, skirt or dress with no logos or print on them. Should be something you are able to move in.)Â
