The AUD course provided the student with chemical dependency education, intervention and prevention services. In the event that a student was required to attend mandatory hearing with the COC due to a FNCF charge and they wanted the benefit of education, intervention and or counseling they would have read, printed and signed the consent form that I have provided below. They would take that form and return to the Office of Student Discipline and Placement to our Hearing Officers.
Students that were referred to the AUD course were eligible to receive one on one counseling, chemical dependency education and family support. For those that did not meet the eligibility requirements to enroll in the AUD course, it was the hope that some of the tools provided would have been able to assist in addressing any issues that might present as being problematic regarding substance use and or abuse.
