Service-learning is an approach to teaching and learning in which students use academic and civic knowledge and skills to address genuine community needs. The Diamond Hill-Jarvis High School JROTC Eagle Battalion has partnered with the American Red Cross as a volunteer donor ambassador. This initiative aims to address the urgent need for blood donations across the country and worldwide while fostering unity and compassion within our community. By bringing people together for an important, life-saving cause, we can make a meaningful impact—saving lives, raising awareness about the importance of regular blood donation, and inspiring others to contribute to the well-being of society.
