Holiday Traditions
By Alex Lambeth-Anderson
As a strange family tradition, me and my family like to make gyozas, but not always with the normal filling of meat and vegetables. We always have some time cut out to make ones which have candy inside, not meat. These gyozas are so disgusting but we all love to have them each year, as a family tradition.
Another tradition that my family does for the holidays is that my sister, my cousin and I always make a parody of Christmas songs, for instance, one song we made was a parody of the twelve days of Christmas (the twelve days of pets). We come up with the song lyrics long before the break, and perform with choreography and everything on Christmas day. This is always so fun, and my family, me included, look forward to these traditions every year.
